Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Anvil ("the Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, uninstall the app.

2. Service description

Anvil is a Shopify app that manages purchase orders, supplier records, multi-location inventory, transfers, reorder suggestions, and reports. The Service writes inventory quantities and cost-of-goods back to Shopify on your behalf.

3. Billing

Anvil bills through Shopify's App Subscriptions. Charges appear on your Shopify bill. Plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Cancellations are honored at the end of the current period.

4. Data accuracy

Anvil computes inventory valuation using AVCO (weighted average cost). We make best efforts to keep your Shopify data in sync, but Shopify is the source of truth for product catalog, prices, and orders. You are responsible for verifying critical figures (inventory counts, cost-of-goods writes, reports) against Shopify and your accounting system.

5. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the Service: no scraping our application, no attempts to circumvent rate limits, no use of the Service to violate Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law.

6. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided AS IS. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. On uninstall, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Anvil is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
